Where did the name "Home Poet" come from?
The name was originally Home Alone Records, but in deciding I wanted to do this label thing full time, I changed it to Home Poet, because I like the way it sounded. The origin is pretty boring, but it works, I guess. If you want to know a detailed history of the label, cause you're a nerd like me go here.

Who runs Home Poet Records?
Tim (me!) runs Home Poet Records, and is writing up this FAQ. No one else monitors our social media or anything, although Filip (of Confusion Specialist Records) has helped with the label and has introduced me to lots of cool people in the community!

How can I help the label?
You can help by listening to and sharing our records with your friends and family!

Do you accept demo submissions?
Currently, we are not accepting submissions, because we are a little behind on getting things made and put together. I will update this FAQ when we start accepting submissions again! If you just want an opinion, feel free to send us a song on Facebook or something!


Shipping
What are your shipping rates?
For the United States, we ship Media Mail which runs about $3.25, for Canada we ship First Class for about $9.99 or so, for Europe/Asia we ship International for $23.00. One day, we hope it is cheaper to ship over seas, but right now USPS sucks when it comes to shipping packages.

Can I cancel an order?
Yes, you can! I try to ship out orders within 10-20 days of receiving them (unless it's a preorder), so if you want to cancel try to cancel right away or email us at homepoetrecords@gmail.com. If we have already shipped your order, wait for it to come then ship it back. You will have to pay for shipping costs, though.

What is your return policy?
Our return policy is pretty simple and self explanatory you can read it here.

Why haven't I gotten my package?
I am forever busy with school, so it may take me a little while to ship things, but I will do it and if it takes longer than I expect I will throw in extra goodies, as well.

Why did my item come with a bunch of paper with pictures and junk?
I also send out promo flyers, posters, etc whenever I ship out an order
